Additional core investment criteria include experienced management teams, growth potential due to sustainable advantages in an expanding market, market leadership potential, robust gross profit margins, financial transparency and good corporate governance and absence of excessive debt or other liabilities. ECP's investment horizon generally ranges from three to five years. Their preferred exit strategy tends to be through a trade sale to a strategic buyer or an IPO.
