NextCure, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that is focused on advancing medicines that treat cancer patients that do not respond to, or have disease progression on, current therapies, through the use of differentiated mechanisms of action, including antibody-drug conjugates (ADC). Its product candidate, LNCB74, is designed as a B7-H4 targeted ADC to kill tumors. Its clinical oncology programs include NC410 and NC525. NC410 is a fusion protein of LAIR-2, a naturally occurring soluble version of, and decoy protein for, LAIR-1 that is designed to block immune suppression mediated by LAIR-1. NC525 is a novel LAIR-1 antibody that selectively targets Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), blast cells and leukemic stem cells.
