MOD Resources Limited is engaged in exploration of copper and silver in Botswana and gold in New Zealand. The Company operates through three segments: Africa-Botswana Copper Project/Silver Project, Africa-MOD/MTR Joint Venture Project and New Zealand-Sams Creek Gold Project. The Africa-Botswana Copper Project/Silver Project segment includes the operations carried in Botswana. The Africa-MOD/MTR Joint Venture Project segment includes the operations carried on in Kalahari Copper belt north western Botswana. The New Zealand-Sams Creek Gold Project segment includes the operations carried on near the South Island town of Nelson. The Company focuses on the Botswana Copper Project, which covers approximately 11,300 square kilometers tenement footprint at the center of the Kalahari Copper Belt. The Company's Sams Creek Gold Project is located approximately 100 kilometers north of the Reefton gold field in the South Island of New Zealand.
