Mo Hossain

Mr. Mo Hossain is Founder & Managing Partner at Ennovance Capital since 2008.
His global business experience spans the horizon from a start-up venture such as Apex Products to Fortune 500 companies like Nalco Chemical (formerly Exxon Energy Chemicals), Dow Chemical (formerly Rohm and Haas Company), etc.
He was instrumental in launching several emerging technologies and multiple new product lines while creating important strategic partnerships & alliances to deliver step-out business growth.
He began his tenure as an engineer and in the following years held positions of increasing responsibility in commercial leadership roles in account management, worldwide product management, marketing management, corporate strategy and M&A, ultimately rising to the level of general manager and vice president.
Mr. Hossain is very active with philanthropic causes, promoting both education for the “poorest of the poor children” and bottoms-up entrepreneurship.
He is the founder of the “Self-Freedom Foundation,” which targets and funds social entrepreneurship programs supporting educational organizations for children in third world countries.
Additionally, he serves as a judge for various business plan competitions such as Temple’s Fox School of Business and Management while also mentoring young entrepreneurs in various Venture Capital Forums.
Mr. Hossain holds a B.S.
degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University and earned his M.B.A. from the University of Houston.
He also completed the Executive Management Program at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
