Michael Nearing

Michael Nearing became our General Counsel in March 2004.
Prior to joining MasTec, He was in the private practice of law, most recently as a partner with Kluger, Peretz, Kaplan and Berlin, P.L., in Miami, Florida.
From 1990 until 1999 He was General Counsel and subsequently Chief Executive Officer of Avior Technologies, Inc., an international air charter service.
Prior to the formation of Avior, Mr. Nearing was in private legal practice and served as a staff member with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Department of Justice Antitrust Division.
Mr. Nearing received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
