Lars Bergenhem holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
He went on to have a long and distinguished career as an industrialist, serving on the Boards of numerous international companies.
In 1962 he co-founded SAPA, which became the largest manufacturer of aluminium profiles for the construction and automotive industries in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Together with his co-founding partner, he sold SAPA to Electrolux in 1976.
