Mr. Walji began his career in the financial services industry in New York in 2003.
Before joining Invesco in 2013, he was a senior portfolio manager in global corporate securities for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB).
Prior to joining CPPIB in 2010, Mr. Walji spent five years at New York–based American Securities Opportunities Fund as a vice president, investing in high-yield bonds, leveraged loans and distressed debt.
He received his BS degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from London Business School.
