Dominique Mégret

Mr.Dominique Mégret is Head of Swisscom Ventures.
He joined Swisscom in 2002 as head of the Group Strategy unit before starting Swisscom Ventures three years later.
He has a background as a entrepreneur in the UK, Germany and France (co-founder of Kick-Start Ventures).
In addition, he has worked strategy consultant and manager in the IT industry.
Mr. Mégret graduated from Insead (MBA).
Mr. Dominique Mégret was Chairman at PAI Partners, where he was Chief Executive Officer until August 2009 when he announced his retirement, due for Spring 2010.
Mr. Mégret first joined PAI in 1974 and from 1974 to 1978, focused on investments in the Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals sector.
From 1978 to 1991, he worked at Banque Paribas as Head of Financial Planning and in the International Department as Head of Northern Europe.
He returned to PAI partners in 1991 as a member of the Executive Committee and was responsible for PAI partners investments in the Food & Beverage and Media & Communication sectors.
He was appointed Deputy Head of PAI partners in 1999 and became CEO in 2006.
Prior to this, he spent two years with Andersen Consulting.
Mr. Mégret graduated from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC 1970).
He speaks French (native), English (fluent) and German (basic).
