Mr. Malone is a successful entrepreneur and former banker who recently completed his MBA at the Wharton School.
He joined Farmhouse in 2004 and presently splits his time (80/10/10) between China, Europe and the USA researching retail, food and beverage, consumer goods/services, and industrial goods/services.
China has become the world’s factory, and he is on the ground there to bring our clients timely and valuable information that will move up the value chain and ultimately affect the value of their investments in the USA and Europe.
Mr. Malone has taken up the dual role of meeting with clients to discuss and build business opportunities as well as providing custom, high-level research through his contacts developed as a global entrepreneur and Wharton alumnus.
Mr. Malone worked for 2 years as a structurer of derivative linked products for both Citibank Private Bank and Citigroup Global Finance in Zurich Switzerland.
Additionally, he worked at Dragon Tech Venture Capital in Beijing and at North Capital in Moscow on fundraising and investment due diligence.
Mr. Malone holds an MBA in marketing and business development with a concentration in private equity from the Wharton School, an honors degree in corporate finance and investment management from the University of Alabama, and two professional certificates in directing film and computer animation from New York University.
He also studied Asia Strategy at INSEAD in Singapore and finance at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia.
His language studies include German and Mandarin, and he is a CFA Level II candidate.
