Photonis Defense, the American subsidiary of Exosens, has secured an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity) contract with the U.S. Army, with a potential value reaching $352.6 million.
This contract, which runs until 2033, covers the development, production, and testing of BiNOD binocular night vision devices for the U.S. Army. The contract was awarded in competition with five other bidders.
Jérôme Cerisier, CEO of Exosens, stated that this contract confirms the strength of the company's industrial strategy in the United States, particularly thanks to its production site in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.
This agreement marks a key milestone in Exosens' development within the U.S. defense market, strengthening its local industrial presence and supporting its long-term growth. An IDIQ contract sets a duration and a financial ceiling, but does not specify the exact volume or schedule of orders, which are placed incrementally via specific task orders. The announced amount is therefore a theoretical maximum and not a guaranteed revenue.
Exosens specializes in the design, manufacture and marketing of high-tech electro-optical detection and imaging systems for defense and industrial applications. At the end of 2025, the group has 12 production sites around the world.
