Steve Sheng is President and Chief Executive Officer of OmniGuide and President of Spectra-Physics' Laser Division.
He joined Spectra-Physics' Lasers and Optics Group in 1979 as a Laser Physicist.
Dr. Sheng was Vice President and General Manager of Spectra-Physics Laser's Ultrafast Laser Systems Business Unit and Industrial and Scientific Laser Business Unit.
From 2000 to 2002, he was Senior Vice President of the Laser Group for Spectra-Physics.
Dr. Sheng received a PhD, an MS in Applied Physics and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
He completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
