Prior to joining the founding Asymmetric team, Sam was a Vice President at private equity firm Sycamore Partners, where he focused on control-oriented investments primarily in retail companies.
Previously, Sam worked at Apax Partners on the Global Alpha team, investing across the capital structure in U.S.
and European businesses.
Prior to Apax, Sam worked at KKR in the Capital Solutions Group, employing a similarly flexible investment mandate.
Sam received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. in Economics with Distinction from Yale University, where he played on the Men’s Varsity Squash team.
