Althera Capital follows a 'Cash & Coach' investment approach with a particular focus on corporate governance. The firm invests between EUR 250 thousand and 1 million as sole investor, or co-invests in deals sized up to EUR 5 million. They target companies with EUR 2 to 15 million in turnover, which are in need of expansion capital. They may acquire minority or majority interests, and generally sit on the board of directors or on the supervisory board. Their targeted exit horizon is five to six years.
