Dr. Nelson Wicas is a Research Director at Redpoint Investment Management Pty Ltd. He is also a co-founder of redpoint, a member of redpoint’s investment committee and is primarily involved in research and development of the investment process.
Prior to redpoint, he was the Director of Global Equities at First Quadrant in Pasadena with responsibility for global stock selection research, portfolio management, attribution analysis and technical support for marketing and client service.
Prior to First Quadrant, he was a Principal at the Vanguard Group developing quantitative investment strategies, managing portfolios and playing a key role in creating Vanguard’s internal active equity management capability.
He has a PhD in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
