Ms. Porter received an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in 1991 and a B.A. with departmental honors from Connecticut College.
Prior to attending the University of St. Thomas, she worked in development at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Ms. Porter is currently on the Board of Directors of the Doane Stuart School, the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival & Endowment Foundation, the George Balanchine Foundation, and the China Institute.
She also serves on the Associate Council of the New York City Museum of Modern Art.
