Mr. Starr is the Founder and Managing Director of Starr & Company, LLC, a financial consulting and business management firm.
He currently serves on the boards of Terremark Worldwide, Inc. and Fusion Telecommunications International, Inc. Both companies are involved in international telephony, Internet, and fax communications.
Mr. Starr is on the Board of Trustees of NYU School of Law and is a member of its executive board.
He founded the Samalexa Charitable Foundation, which contributes to medical, educational and cultural activities, and he serves as trustee of several other charitable foundations.
He is a founding member and an officer of Friends in Deed, an organization established to help people afflicted with AIDS.
Mr. Starr is a member of the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bar Association and serves on various estate, trust and tax committees.
He is a certified public accountant and an attorney admitted to the New York State bar.
