John Panousopoulos joined the Beringer Capital team in early 2019.
He provides due diligence and deal support to the Principals as well as financial and operational guidance to the portfolio companies.
John brings twenty years of financial, operational and risk management experience in numerous industries.
Prior to joining Beringer Capital, John was the Corporate Controller at Match Marketing Corporation, a former Fund II portfolio company, where he was responsible for the review and consolidation of financial results, advised local finance teams on accounting and operational matters, managed special projects and assisted Beringer Capital with due diligence and other sale processes.
Prior to Match Marketing, John was the CFO at Olbert Metal Sales Limited, a privately-owned metals distribution company with operations in the US and Canada, where he directed all aspects of the finance, technology and HR functions.
He has also worked in Ernst & Young LLP’s risk advisory services group, advising clients in various industries on enterprise risk management; and was the Manager, Corporate Accounting at a financial services company.
John began his career as an auditor at KPMG LLP.
John has a BComm from the University of Toronto and is a CPA (Ontario).
