Areion Asset Management is an active, catalyst-driven manager which invests mainly in publicly traded equity securities, futures and options in the Asia-Pacific region that aims to achieve high absolute rates of return while minimizing the risk of capital loss. The firm seeks to maximize investors’ capital by building long positions with trading values materially lower than their intrinsic values and by selling short equities, futures and options with trading values materially higher than their intrinsic values, and realizing them through a near- to mid-term catalyst.
