Masaaki Miura

Mr. Miura was the driving force in the foundation of Mitsui & Co. Technology Investment Group.
His background, which combines significant senior management and extensive business experience in Japan and the U.S., provides the dynamic business direction needed to manage a strategic investment entity.
Mr. Miura has founded seven venture companies in Japan and the U.S.
over the last ten years.
From 2002 to 2004, he served as the general manager of Mitsui’s IT Service Business Division, and as senior general manager of the Information Security Business Strategy Unit.
From 2000 to 2002, he was general manager of IT Open Software.
From 1994 to 2000, he was stationed at Mitsui Comtek Corp, Mitsui’s strategic IT subsidiary, where he served as senior vice president and general manager of the Silicon Valley division from 1994 to 1998, and then as president and CEO from 1998 to 2000.
He has also served as president & CEO of Senju Comtek Corp, a California-based solder material manufacturer and a joint venture of Senju Metal Corp.
and Mitsui Comtek Corp.
from 1997 to 2000.
From 1990 to 1994 he was deputy manager of the Machinery department at Mitsui’s Singapore Office.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration Engineering from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan.
