Wia Gold Limited is an Australia-based company, which is engaged in the gold exploration business focused on the Kokoseb discovery in Namibia. The Company is exploring for gold in the Damaran belt in Namibia and the Birimian greenstones of Cote d'Ivoire. The Kokoseb Gold Project is located in north-west Namibia approximately 320 kilometers by road from the capital city of Windhoek. The Kokoseb Gold Project lies within the Okombahe Exploration License, which is held under a joint venture by the Company (80%) and the Namibian state-owned mining company, Epangelo. The Okombahe EL is part of its broader Damaran Belt tenure in Namibia, which consists of approximately 12 tenements across a total area of 2,700 square kilometers (km2). Its Cote d'Ivoire Projects include Bouafle, Mankono and Bocanda. The Company also holds the Issia exploration permit that covers an area of around 375 km2. The Bouafle Project covers an area of around 742 km2. The Mankono Project covers an area of over 379 km2.
