Texas Instruments said its top accountant will succeed the company's retiring chief financial officer.
The maker of processing and semiconductor chips said Tuesday that Chief Accounting Officer Julie Knecht will take over on Aug. 1 for Rafael Lizardi, who is leaving after 25 years with the company.
"Rafael and Julie have worked together closely for more than a decade, and they share a commitment to financial and operational excellence," Chief Executive Haviv Ilan said.
Lizardi will step into an advisory role through Aug. 31 to support the transition, the company said.
