HAMBURG (dpa-AFX) - The Aircraft Interiors Expo, a premier trade fair showcasing the latest in aircraft cabin design and technology, opens its doors in Hamburg this Tuesday at 9:00 AM. According to the event's website, manufacturers will present a wide array of cabin components to business clients, ranging from seating and lavatory fixtures to window assemblies and structural elements.

Organizers describe the event as the world's leading exhibition for cabin technology. The official website indicates that more than 450 exhibitors, 190 airlines, and 13,000 visitors are expected to attend.

The trade fair, which was first held in Cannes, France, in 2000, will run through Thursday at the Hamburg Messe exhibition center.
