Miklos Salamon was the founder of BHP Group (UK) Ltd. founded in 1997, where he held the title of Executive Director from 1997 to 2006.
He also held former positions as Chairman of BHP Nickel West Pty Ltd., Chairman of New World Resources NV from 2007 to 2010, and Executive Chairman of New World Resources Plc from 2011 to 2012.
He was also Executive Chairman of Samancor Ltd. and Chairman of Columbus Stainless (Pty) Ltd. in 1997.
