Kent joined CSL in May 2015 as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.
Kent is responsible for all legal and compliance matters and transactions for CSL, overseeing the firm’s compliance program and handling formation, acquisition and divestment transactions for both the firm and its various portfolio companies.
Prior to joining CSL, he was a senior partner at Locke Lord LLP and a member of its corporate and private equity and venture capital groups, where he focused on private equity and venture capital transactions, merger and acquisition transactions and securities compliance matters.
Kent graduated from Davidson College with honors and Wake Forest University School of Law with honors.
