Douglas C. Lane & Associates' (DCL) provides customized management of stock and bond portfolios for their clients. The firm's investment philosophy seeks to provide above-average total returns for their clients’ capital through long-term investment in individual equity and fixed-income securities. They seek to invest in companies that have business models that can generate attractive long-term returns for their clients. DCL does not invest in any pooled or collective vehicles such as hedge funds or private equity funds. The firm employs a global, “core” strategy which they believe derives its advantage from its flexibility. Since the firm is not constrained by company size, style, or geography, they can identify the best investment opportunities available in the market, regardless of how they may be classified by the broader investment community.
